Recycling / Residue treatment – material extraction
Constantly rising prices for raw material and environmental consciousness increase the demand for a lasting development of materials. Besides those well established recycling systems, trend setting systems for advanced waste treatment and production of materials, have matured within the last ten years.
Production of material from renewable resources
The idea to produce materials from renewable raw materials became reality: in 2003 the first pressed straw panel plant was put into operation in Europe. Compared to regular chip- or MDF boards, straw panels have excellent stability, are acid resistant and are weather proof. They can be made of grain, rice and hemp waste.
Residue treatment of biogenic waste
Numerous waste materials from clarification and biogas plants consist of biogenic energy carrier and are expensive to dispose of.
Although it is possible to use as an extra source of income or to access their cost saving potential.
EvU develops plants for composting sludge from clarification and biogas plants in combination with structured material like straw, other biogenic residue products or waste.
Waste treatment- extraction of raw materials
Despite of domestic waste separation, a precise separation of individual components is a prerequisite for a further treatment.
EvU develops treatment plants to extract recoverable materials out of domestic waste. Especially through sorting of recoverable material, by sifting/screening, pneumatic separation and manual sorting, as well as supply of organic fraction for composting.
